Litløy Lighthouse is located on the island of Litløya in the Vesterålen archipelago, overlooking the Lofoten islands in Norway. The lighthouse was built in 1912 and electrified in 1959. It was automated in 1991, and the staff remained to maintain the lighthouse and nearby beacons, as well as to assist with shipping activities and run a meteorological weather station.

The lighthouse was depopulated in 2003 due to the high cost of keeping staff on the island. It was later sold to Ellen Marie Hansteensen in 2006, who aimed to make it accessible to the public. Since then, the lighthouse has been renovated to offer accommodation and guided tours. The property has been restored to allow daytime visitors to explore the island, and the project has been documented by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.

Today, the lighthouse is owned by Ellen Marie Hansteensen, who is the island's only permanent inhabitant. The lighthouse has been upgraded with a solar-powered light, which has a distinctive white blink every 10 seconds. The lighthouse has an interesting history, from its original construction to its automation and eventual sale to a private owner. It has been transformed into a unique and accessible destination, offering a glimpse into Norway's maritime history.
