The Plumb Point Lighthouse is located on the Palisadoes Peninsula in St Andrew, Jamaica. It was built in 1853 and is an active 19th century heritage lighthouse that guides shipping into Kingston Harbour. The lighthouse is situated on the eastern navigable channel and is about 8 kilometers east of Port Royal and the entrance to Kingston Harbour near Norman Manley International Airport.

The Plumb Point Lighthouse is a two-stage tapered cylindrical tower with a balcony and lantern. It is 21 meters tall and has a focal height of 21 meters. The tower is constructed of lower half stone and upper half cast iron, and is painted white with a red lantern roof. The lighthouse has a range of 25 miles and shows a white light visible for about 15 miles over the entrance of the eastern navigable channel and a red light over the south channel.

The Plumb Point Lighthouse has an interesting history, with the light only going out once since it was built, during the 1907 earthquake. It is maintained by the Port Authority of Jamaica and is part of the historic Port Royal Protected Area, which the government hopes to develop as a tourist attraction.
