Poolbeg

The Poolbeg Lighthouse is located in Dublin, Ireland, at the mouth of the River Liffey, near the Poolbeg peninsula. The lighthouse was first established in 1767 and initially operated using candlepower, which was later changed to oil in 1786. It was redesigned and rebuilt into its current form in 1820.

The lighthouse is a cylindrical tower with a balcony and lantern, standing at a height of 20 meters. It is one of three lighthouses located on the Great South Wall, which extends nearly four miles out into Dublin Bay.
