The current lighthouse was built in 1891 and stands 16 meters high, with a light source positioned 21 meters above sea level. The structure is a cylindrical tower with a balcony and lantern, featuring a white tower and a grey metallic lantern dome.
The lighthouse emits a one-white-flash light in a five-second period, visible up to 15 nautical miles. It is completely automated and managed by the Marina Militare, with the identification code number 2286 E.F. The lighthouse's predecessor was built in 1869, and it has undergone changes to improve its functionality and visibility.
