Cape Campbell Lighthouse is located at Cape Campbell in the Marlborough region of the South Island of New Zealand. The original lighthouse was first lit on 1 August 1870, but due to the decaying of its timber structure, a new cast iron tower was constructed and began operating in October 1905. The lighthouse stands at a height of 22 meters and has a focal height of 47 meters, with a range of 19 nautical miles.

The lighthouse features a cylindrical tower with a balcony and lantern, and is marked with white and black horizontal bands. It was initially fueled by oil, but was later replaced with an electric lamp powered by a diesel generator in 1938, and then connected to the mains grid in the 1960s. The lighthouse was fully automated in 1986 and is now managed from a control room in Wellington by Maritime New Zealand.

The Cape Campbell Lighthouse has an interesting history, having been featured in the 2016 film The Light Between Oceans. It has also been the subject of a book, The Tall White Tower, which provides a vision of the lighthouse and its surroundings. Today, the lighthouse remains an important aid to navigation, and its rich history and stunning location make it a notable landmark in New Zealand.
