The Farol do Penedo da Saudade lighthouse is located on the Atlantic coast in São Pedro de Moel, Leiria District, Portugal. It was built in 1912 and takes its name from the cliff on which it was constructed. The lighthouse is a quadrangular tower made of stone and masonry walls covered by brick tiles, with a spiral staircase inside. It stands 32 meters high, with its base at 55 meters above sea level.

The lighthouse has a rich history, having been identified as necessary during a survey in 1866, but its construction did not begin until 1909. It started operations on February 15, 1912, and was initially equipped with a rotating 3rd-order optical device. The light was extinguished during World War I, from 1916 to 1919, and was also inactive for a few months in 1921. Over the years, the lighthouse has undergone several improvements and changes, including the installation of generators and aeromarine panels.

Today, the Farol do Penedo da Saudade lighthouse is automated and can be visited on Wednesday afternoons. It is an important aid to navigation, with a range of 30 nautical miles and a characteristic of two white flashes every 15 seconds. The lighthouse has been connected to the public grid since 1980, and its light source has been progressively reduced from 6000 watts to 1000 watts. Despite experiencing technical difficulties in the past, the lighthouse remains an essential part of Portugal's maritime heritage.
