Front Stanislaus-Adzhyhol

The Front Stanislaus-Adzhyhol lighthouse is located in the Kherson Oblast region of Ukraine. The lighthouse was built in 1911 and features a distinctive hyperboloid structure designed by Vladimir Shukhov. The tower itself is made of steel and stands at a height of 85 feet, with a focal height of 79 feet. The lighthouse is painted red and has a range of 16 nautical miles.

The lighthouse serves as a range light, guiding ships into the Dnieper River along with the Adziogol lighthouse. The site of the lighthouse is accessible only by boat, and while the site is open to the public, the tower itself is closed. The lighthouse is an active aid to navigation, and its unique design has made it a notable example of a hyperboloid structure.

The Front Stanislaus-Adzhyhol lighthouse has an interesting history, having been designed by a prominent engineer and constructed over a century ago. The lighthouse is managed by Gosgidrografiya, the Ukrainian state agency responsible for hydrography and navigation. Despite being over 100 years old, the lighthouse remains an important aid to navigation in the region, and its unique design has made it a notable landmark in Ukraine.
