The Lange Jaap Lighthouse, also known as Kijkduin Light or Den Helder Light, is an active lighthouse located in Huisduinen, Netherlands. The lighthouse stands at a height of 63.45 meters and features a 16-sided tapered prism with a gallery, lantern, and rotating antenna. Constructed in 1822 and rebuilt in 1878, the current tower is one of the tallest traditional lighthouses in the world, with a height of 208.2 meters. It was the tallest lighthouse in the Netherlands for nearly a century until the construction of the Maasvlakte Light in 1974.

The lighthouse has a rich history, with the first aid to navigation at the site being a simple coal-fire light from 1814. The tower has undergone several modifications and upgrades, including the installation of a 1st order Fresnel lens in 1949. The site was listed as a Rijksmonument in 1988, and the cupola and lantern pane were replaced in 1992. However, due to safety concerns, the tower itself has been closed to the public since 1998, and an area with a radius of 70 meters has been fenced off since September 2021 due to concerns that the tower may topple over.

The Lange Jaap Lighthouse remains an active aid to navigation, with a range of 30 nautical miles and an intensity of 5,200,000 candela. Its characteristic is a flash every 20 seconds, and it is a notable landmark in the Netherlands.
