The Obrestad Lighthouse is located in Rogaland, Norway, on the north side of the small farming village of Obrestad in Hå Municipality. It was first lit in 1873 and has a square granite tower attached to a lighthouse keeper's home. The tower is 16.5 meters tall and is painted white with a red lantern room on top.
The lighthouse was automated in 1991 and is now a protected historical building. It emits a continuous white light with an intensity of 129,900 candela, and a more intense white flash every 30 seconds. The site is open to visitors from mid-June to mid-August and on Sundays from March to June and August to December. The lighthouse has been managed by the municipal council of Hå Municipality since 2006 and features a museum and accommodations for private functions or overnight stays.
The Obrestad Lighthouse has a rich history, and its location on a promontory about 5 kilometers west of the village of Nærbø makes it a significant landmark in the area. The lighthouse keeper's house was built in 1905 and is now used for various purposes.
