Pengjia Lighthouse

The Pengjia Lighthouse is located in Pengjia Islet, Zhongzheng District, Keelung, Taiwan. It was first built in 1897, but the current lighthouse was constructed between 1906 and 1908 and started its service on September 20, 1909. The lighthouse has a cylindrical tower with a balcony and lantern on a hexagonal prism basement, and it stands at a height of 28.6 meters.

The Pengjia Lighthouse is a significant structure in Taiwan, and it has been designated as a historic site by the Keelung City Government since December 2015. The lighthouse is currently managed by the Maritime and Port Bureau, and it is staffed by five workers. The lighthouse is equipped with a light source that has a range of 25.3 nautical miles and a characteristic of flashing white every 15 seconds.
