The Haifa Lee Breakwater Light is a lighthouse located in Haifa, Israel, at the end of the quay serving as the inner breakwater of the Port of Haifa. The lighthouse was built in 2007 and features a 25-meter tall steel tower with a triangular skeletal structure and a white tower. It has a distinctive characteristic of flashing red every 3 seconds.
Prior to 2007, the light was situated on top of a 31-foot white square concrete harbor control tower with a focal plane height of 46 feet and a visibility range of 5 nautical miles. The redevelopment of the lee breakwater led to the relocation of the light to its current position on the skeletal radar tower.
The Haifa Lee Breakwater Light is an important aid to navigation in the Port of Haifa, and its history reflects the changes and developments in the port's infrastructure. Although the lighthouse does not have a long history, its current status as an automated aid to navigation makes it a vital component of the port's safety features.
